Last Day Of October

Day pass day & it is end of the month again. What is the best thing when today comes? Of course to get the pay for the month! Pay bills, loans, parent, shopping, movie, luxury dinner………too many things to do but too less money to spend.

There are too many things happen around & things keep changing no matter you say yes or no. Sometimes, I felt short of time to note down every single thing that I think is memorable.

Phrase of Today : Everyday is a different day, tomorrow is not a better day because yesterday, today & everyday is a great day.

What is Love & Marriage?

A student ask a teacher, "what is love?"

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the paddy field and choose the biggest paddy and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big paddy but he wonders.... may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.Later, when he finished more than half of the paddy field, he start to realize that the paddy is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted!!!! So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person...."

"What is marriage then?" the student asked.

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and comeback to the teacher.

The teacher told him, "This time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... this is marriage."

**Problem does not occur to break the relationship. There will be an unseen love behind every circumstance... It is the chance for us to understand that love is so precious.

**Never undervalue the love or the person who you love.

**Don't ever hurt a person who loves you. Because, "to the world you might be someone. But to someone you might be the world..."

Plan To Hong Kong

Picture provided by Joe - a travelling lover.
I am doing some reserch for my next year travelling trip ( enough for this year ). Well, i found the best time to Hong Kong is Autumn - September to December.

Winter - Dry & Cold
Summer - Very Hot
Autumn - Best time ^-^

Hong Kong, I'll see you in September 2008 ^-^

I was Late

I have been waiting & waiting, why my alarm clock still haven’t ring. When I felt there is something wrong, I jump up & grab my clock. Oh my God! It was almost 7:30am.

Within 20 minutes, I’ve took shower, well dressed, made my breakfast ( just a coffee & 2 slides of bread with jam ) & drove to work. I was impressed that sometimes I can be as quick as I wanted to.

When I was in rush, there is always something preventing me. A doggie was chasing behind my car & I don’t know why. After the doggie, a big truck was blocking my front way & I have no choice but drive slowly behind. Even I was late but I still won’t forget to drop by for a newspaper. Hehe…

Anyway, I was just late for 6 minutes. Thought I can enjoy my breakfast but then I realized there is only half cup of coffee left. The rest was spilled out in my plastic bag. Do I have to have such a bad Tuesday?

I hope all these avoidable “obstacles” wouldn’t spoil my lovely day. I promise to myself that I would never go back to sleep again after the alarm clock rang ( as I always did ^o^ )!

Phrase of today – We were late to work sometimes, late to express your love to someone, late to make an important decision BUT we will never too late to change.

Metal Cabinets

I love cooking and I have plenty of cook’s stuffs. Well, I would definitely equip my kitchen with metal cabinets. Why?

First – Metal cabinets is absolutely not creatures’ favourite especially termite. I have no worry of missing a piece of cabinets after while.

Second – Metal cabinets are easier to be cleaned up. Durable heavy-duty powder coated steel cabinets would have longer lifetime & stronger.

I prefer the wall storage cabinets, which it allowed to quickly maximize storage capacity in my kitchen by utilizing space on wall. This is because I only have a small kitchen. Let's explore more

I am Sick

I hate when I was sick. Once I got fever, will followed by sore throat, flu & cough. I insist no medicine for this small illness. So, I went to bed at 8pm last night & hope I would feel better the next day. Anyhow, my nose was blocked and I was sleeping with my mouth open to keep me breath.

After sleep for 11 hours, I woke up at 7am this morning. Though it wasn’t a good sleep last night because I am still feeling the same. Keep falling asleep at work & can’t even concentrate on anything I do. What I am thinking is just my lovely bed.

Luckily today is Friday & I got another 2 days to rest.

Sushi

Picture taken at Sushi King - Genting Highland.

When I was in school, I always run to catch the earliest bus to go home, so that I could watch an interesting Japanese series on TV. I love to watch that movie because of the handsome actors & beautiful artist even I don’t understand Japanese.

After finished my high school, I’ve started to work while waiting for the result. I met a new friend who is a Japanese movie big fan. “Love Generation” was the first & the last movie that he lends me. As I remember, a crystal apple always appeared in that movie. Beside, I was attracted by their funny food. Colorful & little dishes that keep rolling in circle looks so delicious. They will pick whichever they want & there are plenty to be chosen. I think I got to know the name of the food after years - Sushi.

I love most of the food but Sushi & wasabi is not my favourite. Anyhow, after tried for several time, I think I started to love it. Will take mum & dad to try it someday as they love the look of sushi too but never taste it. ^-^

I am Back

We had Boat Riding to end the 1st night at Genting Highland.

I am back to work today, with 2 panda eyes, 2 painful legs and an exhausted body. Just a 2 days 1 night trip to Genting Highland - World of Entertainment, used up almost all my energy. Anyway, I am sure the friends who went with me are feeling the same too...hehe.

We were so exciting when we plan this trip because this is our very 1st trip together & we were glad that we really work it out. We took bus from KL Sentral and reached Genting Skyway Lower Station after 45 minutes. Then, take the gondola - cable car, which just 11 minutes up to the hill ( but we felt like it took forever to reach the top ). It was scaring when we were in gondola, swinging & hanging at the middle of the rain forest but I think it was great. When we reach the top hill, we reached the cloud & sky.

We walked for miles with our heavy backpack to seek for washroom & hotel. It was the most tiring part. Luckily the cool weather in Genting make us easier & comfortable. Anyhow, everything went well after we check in hotel & offloaded our luggage. At the plaza, it was flooded with people even on weekday. We missed out the outdoor games but we tried all the indoor's. Of course we would never miss the Casino. With all our saving money, we went to the casino, take a serious glimpse of every potential winning game and then....we just left! Haha...we are not good in gambling but "visiting" could be the must.

It was a tiring trip but it is definitely fun. A good experience & sweet memory... ^-^

Song of Today - Bad Day

I love music but to remember the song title & singer is quite difficult for me. Heard this song couple days ago, when I was down & I think it was interesting & cool. So, I have decided to find the lyric & keep it here, so that I can learn to sing someday when my good mood spoiled again.......

"Where is the moment we need at the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on

You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces everytime
And I don't need no carryin' on

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say
And I don't need no carryin' on

You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day

(Oh.. Holiday..)

Sometimes the system goes on the blink
And the whole thing turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well oh that strong
And I'm not wrong

(yeah...)

So where is the passion when you need it the most
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
You've seen what you like
And how does it feel for one more time
You had a bad day
You had a bad day"

Song by Artist : Daniel Powter. I'll try to remember......

Fashion Design - Dress

I spent my one day holiday to make my very first cloth. Here it is. A pinky dress for my model - Bobo. Not too bad i guess because my model didn't complaint much. Haha..

Sewing is really a very difficult work & need so much patience. Accuracy is very important to create a balance & nice cloth. Anyway, I've got wrong measurements & wrong type of fabric which caused many problems to my first design. Luckily my aunt & mum helps. Eventually the dress completed.
Hmmm...lots of things to learn. Will try my 2nd design soon.

Hell & Heaven

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'

The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.'

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew, which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, 'I don't understand.' It is simple,' said the Lord. 'It requires but one skill. You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'
