School Holidays!

School had break for holidays last week. So, my sister with her 2 naughty boys had back home for holidays. These 2 boys used to stay with us when they were baby until they were 3 or 4. That’s why they always get very excited whenever they have chance back here – a wider place to play as compared to their apartment. The happiest was the little girl at home – my niece.

They are kind of aggressive. Woke up before sunrise & non-stop even sunset. That’s why we all had a very busy & tired week – chasing for the kids in & out. They could fight & cry for anything they want – toys, snacks, book, shower & etc ( even fight for a hug ). Anyway, they back to their busy town & back to school again today. We were frustrated when the kids make noise but it is really happy when we all laugh together. My mum, dad, niece & I are really missing them ^-^

Secrets of Success

Everyone marvels at what it takes to become successful. So do I. Let’s share what I’ve read today, which I think it is definitely the keys of success.

1.) Practise Absolute Integrity - Always do the right thing & always maintain your integrity in all you do.

2.) Take Responsibility For Your Life – Take control of your life & once you start taking responsibility for all that happen to you, you will become better at coping in all areas of your life.

3.) Be Patient & Persistent – Persistence is the remedy that will deal with failure, to persist is to try again until you get the desired result.

4.)Think Positively – How you think affects everything you do. A person’s mindset determines how far they will go in life.

5.) Work Hard – The willingness in putting in the proper hours to work at the thing you want to be successful in.

6.) Stay Focused – Focusing requires giving up some things in the present because you know the time invested will pay off big time down the road.

7.) Step Up to Slip-Ups – Take responsibility & never finger point. No one is perfect but what makes a successful person different is how they handle their slip-ups, so own up & learn from it!

8.) How Have You Been Doing Things – Ask yourself this when you seem to hit the wall all the time. Work smartly & knows when you need to do things differently.

9.) Deliver Your Promises – Always do what you say you are going to do, even if it’s a simple thing like returning someone’s call. Executing on the little things is essential to ensuring big things.

True Love

Mansoor sent me a very touching story yesterday and made me realized what the true love is. I don’t want to just read it & then keep it inbox or delete it. So, I’ve decided to paste it here & share with everyone who is willing to read & understand it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.
On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
I inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's disease.
As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"
He smiled as he patted my hand and said, "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical, nor romantic.
True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be. With all the jokes and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there is one that comes along that has an important message. I had to share it with you. Oh, by the way, peace is seeing a sunset and knowing whom to thank. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.
"Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain."

Feelings of Hug

1.) Victory’s Hug
When I was in school, I always proud to be selected to represent school for activities & competitions. No matter win or lost, experience is the most I appreciate. Hug from teacher is a big encouragement. Hug between own members boost the fighting spirit for victory. Hug between competitors is a starting point of new friendship.

2.) Farewell’s Hug
A farewell’s hug that made me cried when the last day I was in college. I don’t know when we could meet again but I will never forget that speechless hug. It was so close & touching that I can’t even hold my tears.

3.) Friend’s Hug
A real friend is not just a buddy who will eat & laugh with you but it is someone who shares all happiness & sadness together, someone who will lend you the shoulder when you cry & someone who will open the big hands to give you a warm hug.

4.) Family’s Hug
Its easier to hug a stranger than hugging your family members. This is because we are too closed to each other. No matter what happen in our life, family is the only place that we can count on & hug with.

5.) Lover’s Hug
It was so nervous but very excited when someone expressed love to you. Falling in love is very beautiful & sweet. When we hug, it was so romantic & so much in love.

Times make us growth and experiences make us change physically, mentally & emotionally. Read an article about Free Hug couple days ago. A group of young guys were offering free hug on the street. Some people thought they are crazy & silly. But when 1 person gets hugged 5 people around were get laugh. That’s the achievement of happiness & the reason for me to write about my feelings of hug.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning and made my lovely sandwich for lunch. It just took me 15 minutes to get it done. I think it looks cool, that’s why caught this picture. Well, It tastes pretty good too. Definitely fulfilled my tummy & taste sense this afternoon.

Get Motivated Now!

I am quite a lazy person, that’s what I can express myself. Always thinking to do all kind of things but never really get any of it done perfectly. Maybe I am too good in finding reasons & excuses, which caused the procrastination. I’ve read an article of motivation today & it does motivate me to start move & change before its too late. ( So, I've choosed this pretty & sexy girl's picture as my motivation's frame for my diet plan ^o^ ).

Quick Guide to get off your couch and get moving :~

1.) Just get started
There will be days when you don’t feel like doing what you were supposed to do but instead of thinking of how hard it is, tell yourself that you just have to start.

2.) Post a picture of your goal someplace visible
Visualisation is very effective; so if you want to backpack to Europe, print out amazing sight pictures so you will get motivated everyday!

3.) Break it into smaller, mini goals
Large or long term goals can be overwhelming so have smaller goals along the way.

4.) Make it a rule never to skip 2 days in role
No one’s perfect so missing a day doesn’t make you a failure but don’t miss 2 days in role ( unless you are ill ) because that would make you lazy!

5.) Always think positive
Be aware of self-talk; you must be your personal cheerleader.

6.) Make a big public commitment & be fully committed
When you tell your friends & family members of your goals, it makes it harder to back down, works every time!

Motivation = A reason to act. Let’s get motivated today.

Effectiveness

Do you still remember what you did today of 2 years ago or could you recall the love letter that you wrote & sent out 2 years ago?

I’ve received a call from a government officer yesterday. It was pertaining an inquiry letter that my company submitted in year 2005. It was very important matter but we have found the solution from others sources after suffered the pain of wait for the respond. I’ve been advised that they are just about to study our case & needed info in details. What? Letter that sent 2 years ago? He refreshed me by read me the entire letter and luckily I still could remember the main purpose of the letter. But, is this the most effective feedback that they could give? Reply after 24 months instead of 24 hours or days?

Frankly, I’ve never & wont expect a reply after the letter sank for so long, especially from such complicated government party. It does disappointing me but late better than none. What we got to learn is, just be PATIENCE.
