Fashion Design - Dress

I spent my one day holiday to make my very first cloth. Here it is. A pinky dress for my model - Bobo. Not too bad i guess because my model didn't complaint much. Haha..

Sewing is really a very difficult work & need so much patience. Accuracy is very important to create a balance & nice cloth. Anyway, I've got wrong measurements & wrong type of fabric which caused many problems to my first design. Luckily my aunt & mum helps. Eventually the dress completed.
Hmmm...lots of things to learn. Will try my 2nd design soon.

Today is the last working day of the week. 3 days holidays are waiting for me, so very exciting. Well, I would like to take this opportunity to wish my Muslim friends especially Mansoor, Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri & not forget to wish all my friends Happy Holidays. Hooray……..

What am I going to do for these coming holidays? Hmmm…I am thinking & thinking. I don’t know yet but definitely will be a late bird tomorrow morning. How about a dim sum breakfast with family members? Then we will go to buy some sewing materials and start my “runway project” in the afternoon.

2nd day will be Sunday. 11.30am – Bobo & I will catch Mr. Bean on TV. After that, we may go for window-shopping in the evening & meet uncle McD.

3rd day – Night market. Will go looking for some nice stuffs – blouse, hand made necklace, sweet corn…..so many.

4th day – Wake up early in the morning & go back to work of course!

I love holidays. Do you? ^v^

Our Small World

Bobo + Teddy + Me

Bobo loves to take picture. Everytime when I pick up my phone, she will ask, “ Take picture?” and then keep moving & posing in front of me even I say No!

She remembers Teddy bear’s name instead of her own. I asked her, “ What is your name?” Bobo will always come with one answer “ I don’t know.”………..>o<

Hell & Heaven

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'

The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.'

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew, which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, 'I don't understand.' It is simple,' said the Lord. 'It requires but one skill. You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'
