What is Love & Marriage?

A student ask a teacher, "what is love?"

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the paddy field and choose the biggest paddy and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big paddy but he wonders.... may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.Later, when he finished more than half of the paddy field, he start to realize that the paddy is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted!!!! So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person...."

"What is marriage then?" the student asked.

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and comeback to the teacher.

The teacher told him, "This time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... this is marriage."

**Problem does not occur to break the relationship. There will be an unseen love behind every circumstance... It is the chance for us to understand that love is so precious.

School Holidays!

School had break for holidays last week. So, my sister with her 2 naughty boys had back home for holidays. These 2 boys used to stay with us when they were baby until they were 3 or 4. That’s why they always get very excited whenever they have chance back here – a wider place to play as compared to their apartment. The happiest was the little girl at home – my niece.

They are kind of aggressive. Woke up before sunrise & non-stop even sunset. That’s why we all had a very busy & tired week – chasing for the kids in & out. They could fight & cry for anything they want – toys, snacks, book, shower & etc ( even fight for a hug ). Anyway, they back to their busy town & back to school again today. We were frustrated when the kids make noise but it is really happy when we all laugh together. My mum, dad, niece & I are really missing them ^-^

True Love

Mansoor sent me a very touching story yesterday and made me realized what the true love is. I don’t want to just read it & then keep it inbox or delete it. So, I’ve decided to paste it here & share with everyone who is willing to read & understand it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.
On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
I inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's disease.
As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?"
He smiled as he patted my hand and said, "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical, nor romantic.
True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be. With all the jokes and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there is one that comes along that has an important message. I had to share it with you. Oh, by the way, peace is seeing a sunset and knowing whom to thank. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.
"Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain."

Feelings of Hug

1.) Victory’s Hug
When I was in school, I always proud to be selected to represent school for activities & competitions. No matter win or lost, experience is the most I appreciate. Hug from teacher is a big encouragement. Hug between own members boost the fighting spirit for victory. Hug between competitors is a starting point of new friendship.

2.) Farewell’s Hug
A farewell’s hug that made me cried when the last day I was in college. I don’t know when we could meet again but I will never forget that speechless hug. It was so close & touching that I can’t even hold my tears.

3.) Friend’s Hug
A real friend is not just a buddy who will eat & laugh with you but it is someone who shares all happiness & sadness together, someone who will lend you the shoulder when you cry & someone who will open the big hands to give you a warm hug.

4.) Family’s Hug
Its easier to hug a stranger than hugging your family members. This is because we are too closed to each other. No matter what happen in our life, family is the only place that we can count on & hug with.

5.) Lover’s Hug
It was so nervous but very excited when someone expressed love to you. Falling in love is very beautiful & sweet. When we hug, it was so romantic & so much in love.

Times make us growth and experiences make us change physically, mentally & emotionally. Read an article about Free Hug couple days ago. A group of young guys were offering free hug on the street. Some people thought they are crazy & silly. But when 1 person gets hugged 5 people around were get laugh. That’s the achievement of happiness & the reason for me to write about my feelings of hug.

The old man ( Former Employer ) was retired, no income and unable to take care of himself because of ill. Young guy take that responsibility with less paid has never left him and always be there when help needed. How many of us could do the same?

2.) Pet’s Love
A 2.3kgs weights puppy, named Joey safe a 1-year-old boy from danger. The kid was playing at the garden and suddenly came a poisonous snake. Puppy risk himself and jump in between to protect his master. The kid was fine but puppy was bitten by the snake and almost killed. After treatment for quite some times, puppy has recovered and jumping in out as usual. No wonder, people agreed that puppy is the most faithful pet.

Family's Love

Sunday afternoon, I’ve been watching a very touching movie. I’ve started to cry from the beginning to the end of the movie. As a result, I’ve got 2 red & swollen eyes..... @-@

--------------------------------------------------------

There is a poor family with a father, mother & 2 sons. They live with little income from a small printing company. Father works hardly & always tried his best to give the best to the children.

Day pass day, kids grow up. Thinking of his sons’ education & future, he borrows money from financial company & sends kids to the best school. Day & night, he worked hardly just for the family.

After the eldest son gets married, he left the house even the parent disagreed. The parent was so sad & disappointed. Heart was broken, when they know that the youngest son has ran away with his girl friend that has pregnant.

Experiences make people growth. No matter how, the sons then regret with what they have done & back to the family again. With parent’s forgiveness and kindness, they have started a happy family again. Unfortunately, the mother passed away when the happiness is just began. The father decided to go back to their village.

The day when he die, he asked his son, “Is what I’ve done is still not good enough for this family?” The sons cried & said “ Father, you have gave us the best.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Family will always there, care & support us when we need it. World may changed but the family relation could never be changed.

A Mother's Love

This is a touching story that made me cry...........
The Story of One-eyed Mother

My mom only had one eye. I hated her. She was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students & teachers to support the family. There was one occasion during elementary school and my mom came. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this to me? I threw her a hateful look and ran out.

The next day at school..."Your mom only has one eye?!?!"...eeeee said a friend. I wished my mom would just disappear from this world. So I said to my mom, "Mom... Why don't you have the other eye?! If you're only going to make me a laughing stock, why don't you just die?!!!"
My mom did not respond. I guess I felt a little bad, but at the same time, it felt good to think that I had said what I'd wanted to say all this time. Maybe it was, because my mom hadn't punished me, but I didn't think that I had hurt her feelings very badly.

That night, I woke up, and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. My mom was crying there, so quietly, as if she was afraid that she might wake me. I took a look at her, and then turned away. Because of the thing I had said to her earlier, there was something pinching at me in the corner of my heart. Even so, I hated my mother who was crying out of her one eye. So I told myself that I would grow up and become successful.

Then I studied real hard. I left my mother and went to Singapore to study. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. Then I had kids, too. Now I'm living happily as a successful man. I like it here because it's a place that doesn't remind me of my mom. This happiness was getting bigger and bigger, when...

What?! Who's this?! It was my mother...Still with her one eye. I felt as if the whole sky was falling apart on me. Even my children ran away, scared of my mom's eye. And I asked her, "Who are you?!" "I don't know you!!!" as if trying to make that real. I screamed at her, "How dare you come to my house and scare my children!!” GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!" And to this, my mother quietly answered,

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address," and she disappeared out of sight. Thanks good ness... She doesn't recognize me. I was quite relieved. I told myself that I wasn't going to care, Or think about this for the rest of my life. Then a wave of relief came upon me.

One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house in Singapore. So, lying to my wife that I was going on a business trip, I went. After the reunion, I went down to the old shack that I used to call a house. Just out of curiosity. There, I found my mother fallen on the cold ground. But I did not shed a single tear.

She had a piece of paper in her hand. It was a letter to me. "My son. I think my life has been long enough now and I won’t visit Singapore anymore. But would it be too much to ask if I wanted you to come visit me once in a while? I miss you so much and I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I decided not to go to the school. For you….And I'm sorry that I only have one eye, and I was an embarrassment for you. You see, when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mom, I couldn't stand watching you having to grow up with only one eye...
So I gave you mine...

I was so proud of my son that was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye. I was never upset at you for anything you did. The couple times that you were angry with me. I thought to myself, 'It's because he loves me.' My son... Oh, my son... "

Love Letter

I've listened to my favourite radio station yesterday & they were discussing about who you would like to write & send a love letter to. You could write to anyone ( not only for lover ), to your puppy, cat, pen, T-shirt & anything. I would like to write a love letter to my Teddy..... Bear.

Dear Teddy,

Papa sent you as my Christmas gift last year. Even you "arrived" late but I am so happy that you are here. You are the 1st & the greatest that I've ever had. You are the one that I laugh & cry for when I was happy & down. You are the one who listening to me when nobody does. You are the one that I could hold with when I need a shoulder to count on. Even sometimes I kick you out to release my anger but you will never say "No".

Thanks for look after my lovely bedroom when I gone for work & thanks for waiting patiently for my return. Thanks for being with me always....I love you Teddy.

Which Pot are you?

Water bearer had two large pots, one hung on each end of a pole, which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house, the cracked pot always arrived only half full. For two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his master's house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, fulfilled in the design for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was unable to accomplish what it had been made to do.

After two years of enduring this bitter shame, the pot spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself and I apologize to you." "Why?" asked the bearer. "What are you ashamed of?" "I have been able, for or these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path." Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and was cheered somewhat. But at the end of the trail, it still felt the old shame because it had leaked out half its load, and so again the pot apologized to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you not notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path, and not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we've walked back from the stream, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house."

Each of us has flaws. We're all cracked pots. But if we will allow Him, the Lord will use our flaws to grace His Father's table. In God's great economy, nothing goes to waste. Don't be afraid of your flaws. Acknowledge them, and you, too, can bring something beautiful to the Father.

When You Divorce Me, Carry Me Out in Your Arms

To my married and unmarried friends:
This is a very touching story, which I would like to share with....
When You Divorce Me, Carry Me Out in Your Arms
On my wedding day, I carried my wife in my arms. The bridal car stopped in front of our one-room flat. My buddies insisted that I carry her out of the car in my arms. So I carried her into our home. She was then plump and shy. I was a strong and happy bridegroom.
This was the scene ten years ago.
The following days were as simple as a cup of pure water: we had a kid; I went into business and tried to make more money. When the assets were steadily increasing, the affection between us seemed to ebb. She was a civil servant. Every morning we left home together and got home almost at the same time. Our kid was studying in a boarding school. Our marriage life seemed to be enviably happy. But the calm life was more likely to be affected by unpredictable changes.
Dew came into my life.
It was a sunny day. I stood on a spacious balcony. Dew hugged me from behind. My heart once again was immersed in her stream of love. This was the apartment I bought for her.Dew said, you are the kind of man who best draws girls' eyeballs. Her words suddenly reminded me of my wife.
When we were just married, my wife said, Men like you, once successful, would be very attractive to girls.Thinking of this, I became somewhat hesitant. I knew I had betrayed my wife. But I couldn't help doing so. I moved Dew's hands aside and said you go to select some furniture, O.K.? I've got something to do in the company. Obviously she was unhappy, because I had promised to do it together with her.
At the moment, the idea of divorce became clearer in my mind although it used to be something impossible to me.However, I found it rather difficult to tell my wife about it. No matter how mildly I mentioned it to her, she would be deeply hurt. Honestly, she was a good wife. Every evening she was busy preparing dinner. I was sitting in front of the TV. The dinner was ready soon. Then we watched TV together. Or, I was lounging before the computer, visualizing Dew's body. This was the means of my entertainment.
One day I said to her in a slightly joking way, suppose we divorce, what will you do? She stared at me for a few seconds without a word. Apparently she believed that divorce was something too far away from her. I couldn't imagine how she would react once she got to know I was serious. When my wife went to my office, Dew had just stepped out. Almost all the staff looked at my wife with a sympathetic eye and tried to hide something while talking to her. She seemed to have got some hint. She gently smiled at my subordinates. But I read some hurt in her eyes.
Once again, Dew said to me, He Ning, divorce her, O.K.? Then we live together. I nodded. I knew I could not hesitate any more.
When my wife served the last dish, I held her hand. I've got something to tell you, I said. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the serious topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I'm serious. I avoided her question. This so-called answer made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer, because my heart had gone to Dew.
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement, which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. I felt a pain in my heart. The woman who had been living ten years with me would become a stranger one-day. But I could not take back what I had said. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce that had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer.Late that night, I came back home after entertaining my clients. I saw her writing something at the table. I fall asleep fast.
When I woke up, I found she was still there. I turned over and was asleep again. She brought up her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but I was supposed to give her one month s time before divorce, and in the month's time we must live as normal a life as possible. Her reason was simple: our son would finish his summer vacation a month later and she didn't want him to see our marriage was broken.
She passed me the agreement she drafted, and then asked me, He Ning, do you still remember how I entered our bridal room on the wedding day? This question suddenly brought back all those wonderful memories to me. I nodded and said, I remember. You carried me in your arms, she continued, so, I have a requirement, that is, you carry me out in your arms on the day when we divorce. >From now to the end of this month, you must carry me out from the bedroom to the door every morning.I accepted with a smile. I knew she missed those sweet days and wished to end her marriage romantically.
I told Dew about my wife s divorce conditions. She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she does, she has to face the result of divorce, she said scornfully. Her words more or less made me feel uncomfortable. My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. We even treated each other as a stranger.
So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly, “Let us start from today, don't tell our son”. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for a bus and I drove to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. We were so close that I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this intimate woman carefully for a long time. I found she was not young any more. There were some fine wrinkles on her face.
On the third day, she whispered to me, the outside garden is being demolished. Be careful when you pass there. On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I seemed to feel that we were still an intimate couple and I was holding my sweetheart in my arms. The visualization of Dew became vague.
On the fifth and sixth day, she kept reminding me something, such as, where she put the ironed shirts, I should be careful while cooking, etc. I nodded. The sense of intimacy was even stronger. I didn't tell Dew about this.I felt it was easier to carry her. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. I said to her, It seems not difficult to carry you now. She was picking her dresses. I was waiting to carry her out. She tried quite a few but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I smiled.
But I suddenly realized that it was because she was thinner that I could carry her more easily, not because I was stronger. I knew she had buried all the bitterness in her heart. Again, I felt a sense of pain. Subconsciously I reached out a hand to touch her head. Our son came in at the moment. Dad, it's time to carry mum out. He said.
To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had been an essential part of his life. She gestured our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face because I was afraid I would change my mind at the last minute. I held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly, as if we came back to our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad.On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. She said, actually I hope you will hold me in your arms until we are old. I held her tightly and said, both you and I didn't notice that our life lacked intimacy.
I jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my decision. I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door. I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I won't divorce. I'm serious. She looked at me, astonished. Then she touched my forehead. You got no fever. She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I can only say sorry to you, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of life, not because we didn't love each other any more.
Now I understand that since I carried her into the home, she gave birth to our child, I am supposed to hold her until I am old. So I have to say sorry to you.Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove to the office. When I passed the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet for my wife, which was her favorite. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until we are old.
